How Does Invisalign® Work?

The Invisalign® process is very simple. Each pair of aligners is worn for roughly two weeks, and only taken out to eat, drink, brush, and floss. Your teeth will move gradually, week by week, as you swap out each aligner for the following in the sequence until they are eventually in their final position.

Approximately once every six weeks, you’ll come visit us to make sure your therapy is going according to schedule. The usual length of treatment is 9 to 15 months, and the average number of aligners worn is 18 to 30; however, these numbers can vary from case to case.
